Summary: Steady Tab does not collect, transmit, sell or share any data. Everything you set up stays on your device.

• What it stores. Your shortcuts, groups, notes, to-do items, settings, an optional background picture you choose, and automatic snapshots of your setup — all in your browser's local extension storage on this device.
• Search. The search box hands your query to the browser's own default search engine (the one you chose in your browser settings). The extension does not see results and never changes your search settings.
• Most visited sites. Only if you press "From my most visited sites" does the extension ask for permission to read that list, and it uses it once, on your device, to create shortcuts.
• Site icons are read from the browser's local icon cache. The extension makes no network requests and contains no analytics, tracking or advertising code.
• Export and import. A backup file is written only when you press Export, and read only when you choose a file to import.
• Your control. Delete shortcuts, notes and snapshots at any time. Uninstalling the extension removes all of its data from this device, so export a backup first if you want to keep it.
• Children. The extension is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
• Changes. If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date.

稳当新标签页不收集、不传输、不出售、不共享任何数据，你的设置只保存在本机。快捷方式、分组、便签、待办、设置、你选择的背景图和配置快照都保存在本机浏览器的扩展存储里。搜索框把关键词交给浏览器自己的默认搜索引擎，扩展看不到结果，也从不更改搜索设置。只有你点“从我最常访问的网站”时才申请读取该列表，并只在本机用来生成一次快捷方式。网站图标读取自浏览器本地缓存；扩展不发起任何网络请求，不含统计、追踪或广告代码。只有你点“导出”才写备份文件、选择文件时才导入。卸载扩展会删除它在本机的全部数据，如需保留请先导出。联系：jileilei@shuyuli.cn
